Joining the dynamic Integrated Logistics organisation at Tetra Pak, you will be part of the international team supporting all logistics operations and developments from Vietnam, primarily for the cluster. Our state of the art greenfield factory is located at Binh Duong province close to Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam.

Overall, the Logistics Manager shall be responsible for logistics activities with Binh Duong Factory and Market Companies in the Cluster (mainly in South Asia, East Asia and Oceania) and drive cost reduction, improve service levels and effective utilization of logistics resources. In addition, the resource shall also drive and implement cluster logistics priorities and initiatives. This job will report to the Cluster Logistics Director.

The ideal candidate will have:
• A comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end system of information, resources, technology and processes involved in moving a product or service from supplier to customer. 
• Knowledgeable on Supply chain activities: transform information, raw materials and components into a finished product that is delivered to the end customer at the best quality and at lowest possible cost.
• Well versed in 3PL/LSP companies, Carrier knowledge, Transport preparation; loading practices, packing to prevent damage; Transport solutions; setups to serve markets and customers; experienced in routes and analysis of modes of transport.
• In-depth knowledge of Import & Export process in Vietnam.
• As the warehouse is an integral part of the factory operations, the candidate must be an expert in large scale warehouse operations – raw materials & finished goods.

Key Requirements

• A comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end system of information, resources, technology and processes involved in moving a product or service from supplier to customer.
• Knowledgeable on Supply chain activities: transform information, raw materials and components into a finished product that is delivered to the end customer at the best quality and at lowest possible cost.
• Well verse in 3PL companies, Carrier knowledge, Transport preparation; loading practices, packing to prevent damage; Transport solutions; setups to serve markets and customers; experienced in routes and analysis of modes of transport.
• An experience of overall supply chain like customer service and production planning in addition to logistics will be ideal.
• Degree holder or equivalent in Logistic or related field.
• Strong analytical skills, with an ability to balance the strategic and execution orientated aspects of the role.
• Strong numerical reasoning along with an ability to interpret and analyse incomplete information and make predictions based on trend and first principles.
• Demonstrated experience with problem resolution delivering sound solutions.
• Fluent written & spoken English language is a requirement.
• Knowledge and experience working on SAP would be advantageous.
