Logistics Manager

Vagabond Shoemakers is one of Europe's leading fashion shoe brands with a production of about 2 million pairs of shoes and accessories annually. Vagabond's design studio, which also includes a full size prototype production workshop, is located at the global headquarters in Varberg, Sweden. Our production is sourced in-house and through our own factory in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. Our products are then displayed and sold in more than 40 markets worldwide, including Scandinavia, Germany, England, USA and Russia. Vagabond employs approximately 500 people. With placement at Vagabond Vietnam, we are now seeking:

In Ho Chi Minh City is our major production site where we have also a logistic center. Our office and factory is located in Hoc Mon District where we are 280 people working. Our office hosts several nationalities and we have regularly people from our headquarter visiting and working here.

We are now looking for a new position that will monitor all our logistics in Ho Chi Minh. We have goods coming in from our suppliers around HCM which are consolidated, picked, labeled and shipped out in full containers to a number of destinations. Warehousing is outsourced and we monitor and control all goods.

The responsibility includes the implementation of the logistic part of our ERP-system Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Thus a good knowledge of IT in general and ERP/logistic systems will be important. A deep knowledge in Excel is also required.

Your role will be to build up and train a team of 2-3 people, some experience from leadership is important. You will receive information from head quarter and work with Bonded Warehouse in Vietnam, coordinating shipment to each final destinations. Important to find suitable vessel schedule for the best cost and meet the requested date from final customers.

Experience from international logistics is needed as well as fluent english in both speaking and writing.

You will work closely with our logistic team in Sweden so communication skill is important.
