Logistics Coordinator

• Objective and general description of the job:
• To provide all aspects of customer service including answering inquires, checking stock, taking and entering customer orders, solving problems concerning inventory, pricing, deliveries, backorder notification, return and credit, VAT invoice issued and other technical issues.
• To place an order to internal/ external suppliers.
• To back up for other staff in Logistic department if required

Duties & Key Responsibilities
- To perform general Order intake functions.
- To do stock withdrawal, generate picking list, generate invoices and credit notes
- To liaise with sales personnel, transporter and customer on delivery of spare parts.
- To answer incoming calls and e-mails from customers and liaise with them.
- To respond to inquiries of Stock balance, pricing and availability; enter subsequent customer orders.
- To assist in investigating problems relating to Inventory, pricing, deliveries, returns, credits.
- To track and follow up incoming shipments and backorders. Update order status and shipment information for order monitoring.
- To match up customer order and picking list for inventory withdrawals and issue VAT invoice
- To liaise with forwarder on customs clearance and ensure correct tariff code are being applied.
- To make claims-on shipment discrepancies.
- To do rotation job within Logistics team.
- To do other job assigned by Logistic Supervisor/Manager.

- Education: Bachelor Degree related to the position.
- Skills: Computer literacy in MS Office (Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Experience: At least 02 years experience in the related job.
- A proven self-starter who requires minimum supervision. A team player who can coordinate efforts to achieve Department targets
