Logistic Supervisor

Import & Export implementation:
- Ensure effective and timely implementation of all Logistics daily operational goals of Shipping functions and are involved in managing the loading of trucks, setting up delivery routes and unloading of material;
- Manage inventory and maintain communications with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, custom brokers and others involved in the shipping and delivery to ensure that goods are shipped and delivered in a timely manner. Plan and arrange logistics required shipments. Ensure to process orders and on-time delivery;
- Typically conduct a cost analysis of several transportation companies in order to select one that is cost-efficient and able to handle the shipment loads;
- Support simplification and standardization of processes to accelerate logistics and enhance efficiencies.
Build Relationships with Vendors;
- It is up to the Logistics Supervisor to communicate with trucking companies, customs brokers, sales forces and customers, must ensure that all parties are working together to guarantee that shipments are packed, sent and delivered in a timely manner. This responsibility includes contacting various transportation companies to get shipping quotes and deciding on the best carriers based on cost, availability and reliability.

Maintain Warehouse Inventory:
- Study client or customer needs and manage inventory based on these needs. This often includes analyzing product orders to research the need for keeping certain items in stock. Responsible for re-ordering product as needed to maintain sufficient inventory levels;
- Support inventory management consisting of reconciling and maintaining of finished goods inventory by SKU along with lot date at warehouse locations;
- Oversee and monitor availability of stock to reduce shortages;
- Assist audits and month-end processing to incorporate finance accruals;
- Lead cycle count & physical count follow procedure by monthly & yearly as required policy;
- Identify enhancement opportunities and suggest solutions for improvement to top management;
- Lead training, hiring, career development and enrichment of all department associates.

Skills:
- Good verbal and written communication, analytical, organizational;
- The ability to meet sometimes short deadlines and to be detail-oriented are also essential;
- Team players, motivate and manage various individuals to work together to achieve the same goal;
- Understanding planning, shipping, warehouse management and inventory systems;
- Managing daily routes/schedules of shipments and deliveries;
- Knowing all aspects of warehouse operations;
- Reviewing inventory needs and keeping adequate stock;

Other requirements:
- Graduated from Foreign Trade or National Economic university is preferred;
- At least 2 years working in the same position for FDI company.
