Logistic Business Project Manager

The successful candidate is expected to lead Vietnam Logistics Ramp Readiness activities for short and long term ramps over the next 24-36 months. In addition, this candidate will also be expected to lead Vietnam site programs or projects in support of Vietnam factory, Vietnam Logistics, including but not limited to improving velocity, supply chain solutions, supply chain integration, supply chain visibility, and policy compliance requirements, while partnering with other stakeholders.
The PM is responsible to plan/manage programs or projects to meet specific objectives or goals.
Provides leadership for the project team and key interfaces to the project or program. Works on problems/tasks in delivery of a specific product or service. Identify tasks, determine dependencies, identify and assign specific resources, communicate expectations to team members, obtain task effort and duration estimates from team members, and create/track the project schedule.
Assess risk and identify issues.
Monitor progress against schedule.
Coordinate resources with other functions. Review user and technical requirements for completeness and clarity. Plans and schedules work to meet deadlines established by others to ensure the completion of several related tasks.
Uses judgment in data analysis to develop and design solutions for moderately complex processes.
This candidate will also be an experienced Lean/Six Sigma practitioner with the ability to train, coach, and help educate others in the organization about Lean and Six Sigma, and foster use of Lean Six Sigma tools.
This individual will use Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to develop and execute change management, business process improvement and process reengineering that will result in improvements for internal and external customers, increase productivity, and bottom line savings.

1. Bachelors (Masters preferred) in Business or Technical discipline (Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing)
2. 5+ year experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management fields. Highly desired to have strong knowledge and experience in 4PL Logistic area.
3. Expert knowledge in transportation management and/or professional qualifications from the freight or logistics industry.
3. Experience with Project Management (Gantt/Timeline/Resource) methodologies (e.g. PLC, PMP) and tools, with proven track record of delivering projects on time and per goals
4. Clear evidence of team leadership, communication, and facilitation skills (ability to facilitate across functional areas and organizations, influence stakeholders, negotiate across Orgs)
5. Ability to communicate with both tactical/technical team players but also to communicate laterally (partner groups) and upward to management, both in Vietnamese and English.
6. Ability to gather cost/financial data and synthesize for management report out 7. Problem-solving skills
8. Demonstrated influencing skills
9. Versatility and adaptability, with a proven track record in identifying business opportunities, working independently to create and execute plans of action, and ability to influence and deliver results in a dynamic, cross functional, global, teamoriented environment.
10. Demonstrable track record of excellent time management and prioritization, leadership, problem solving, presentation, and written/verbal communication skills.
