For our partner we are hiring an expert Logistic & Supply Chain Director willing to design and drive an expansion plan here in Vietnam
Description
The Logistic & Supply Chain Director , reporting directly to the COO, will be responsible of the following activities:
● Be responsible of Supply Chain, Materials Management, Warehouses and Logistics teams.
● Collaborate with regional supply chain and logistics teams in order to develop solutions with existent 3PL providers to support business expansion
● In-depth understanding of what is required to open new stores in a new market
● Expert understanding of the firm's products to both deliver and develop strategic logistics solutions and support the development of new markets
● Prooven experience in service, cost, and contract negotiations with 3PLs providers
● Support openings of new store locations (i.e. evaluation of access, delivery windows, storage conditions & space)
● Prepare budget and project deliverables. Secure and allocate appropriate resources to achieve set goals
● Communicate and work with all levels of the organisation. Manage a large multi-function program or a set of projects. Interact with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
● Monitoring and producing monthly cost reports and KPIs
● Achieve maximum levels of productivity, ensuring that the business benefits from the lowest possible cost and best value.
Profile
The ideal Director with Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business administration has 15+ years Supply Chain, Logistics experience and at least 5+ years as Director within a multinational organisation
Has strong organisational skills, leadership and ability to lead, contribute and influence others.
Fluency both in Vietnamese and English is required.
