Lecturers - Faculty of Medicine Laboratory

 Teaching theory and practice of undergraduate and graduate training programs in medical laboratory science.
 Undertaking research and guiding students to do scientific research related to the field of expertise
 Participating in guiding students to practice at the laboratories of the hospitals.
 Taking part in professional development activities, developing training programs, fostering working capacity
 Participating in educational services, educational projects, community services.
 Establishing and maintaining memberships with other universities/ hospitals in HCMC to bring the best training quality to HIU students
 Developing extracurricular activities for students

Qualifications:
 A doctorate/ master’s degree in medical laboratory science with one of the major specializations such as biochemistry, hematology, microbiology, parasites and pathology.
 Certificate of pedagogical training for university/ college lecturers
 Certificates of training suitable for the job title: certificate of laboratory practice, certificate of clinical teaching, certificate of biosafety.
Skills:
 Practice skills: Proficient in medical laboratory science with one of the major specializations such as biochemistry, hematology, microbiology, parasites and pathology.
 Good presentation skills
 English skills: Level B1, based on common European standard (CEFR)
 Computer skills: Proficient in computing skill, equivalent to A level
 Other(s): planning skill; teamworking skill.
Experience:
 Experience in teaching specialized medical laboratory at universities/ colleges
 Experience in practicing and testing laboratory quality
 Priority is given to young, dynamic and experienced lecturers who have worked for international universities and who are capable of teaching specialiszed subjects in English
