JOB BRIEF
We are looking for a passionate Lead editor to edit & quality check content on digital platform about […].
As a Lead editor, you will be responsible for taking consumer-targeted web content from concept to publication by overseeing a diverse team of editors, freelance contributor writers, SEO partner and designer (if any).
Ultimately, you should be able to maintain quality and consistency across media types and web platforms and drive increased traffic and brand visibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with Content Director to brainstorm content topics & editorial calendar (article & video)
• Delegate assignments to editors, freelancers and partner
• Supervise editors, freelancers and partner to ensure quality & deadlines are met
• Collaborate with & supervise SEO partner for keywords planning which aligns with editorial calendar
• Monitor and report on web presence and traffic
• Collaborate with Account Manager or Business Development Manager for Branded Integrated Content Proposal (if any)
• Collaborate with & advice Social Manager on social plan, including but not limiting to content adaptation, to build social as a referral traffic source for website
• Ensure all published articles/video meets quality standards (both content & visual)
• Keep track of developments in digital technology
• Regularly research for trends, talked-about content across social channels
