Layout Engineer

Vị trí Layout Engineer chịu trách nhiệm về thiết kế layout, hỗ trợ kỹ thuật may sản phẩm Osprey trong quá trình thiết kế, phát triển, và sản xuất. Các ứng viên phải có khả năng phân tích và cải tiến quy trình để tăng hiệu quả, giảm chi phí, đảm bảo tính bền vững, và tối ưu lợi nhuận cho vòng đời sản phẩm.

The Layout Engineer will be responsible for layout design, technical support for Osprey goods as they go through the product development lifecycle into mass production. The successful candidate will be able to improve industrial processes in order to maintain and seek gains in efficiency, reduce costs, improve sustainability, and maximize profitability in all phases of the product lifecycle.

The Layout Engineer is authorized to take reasonable action necessary to carry out responsibilities consistent with general guidance of the Sr. Consumption Technician. The Product Engineer is directly responsible to the Sr. Consumption Technician.

*Thiết kế/ Phát triển - Design/Development
• Tham gia thiết lập quy trình, layout, và kỹ thuật chế tạo sản phẩm từ giai đoạn thiết kế cho đến lúc sản xuất.
• Thu thập và phân tích quy trình sản xuất tại phòng mẫu Osprey và tại Nhà máy.
• Làm việc nhóm với bộ phận Thiết kế, Tạo rập, và May của Osprey để giảm các công đoạn thừa, mục đích là tạo ra hiệu suất và giảm chi phí. Bảo đảm sự xuyên suốt cho quá trình chuyển giao mẫu từ Phát triển sản phẩm tại Osprey đến Sản xuất tại Nhà máy.
• Tiến hành đo đạc thời gian cho các sản phẩm của Osprey.
• Xây dựng và Quản lý dữ liệu cơ sở của Quy trình sản xuất từ Phát triển sản phẩm đến Sản xuất.
• Tối ưu hóa quy trình, cân bằng chuyền, ghép công đoạn phù hơp với thực tế sản xuất.

• Contributes as a team member in cross-functional projects from Design to Production.
• Record and analyze manufacturing process at Osprey Sample room and Production site.
• Work with Designers, Pattern Makers and Sewers (Osprey) to eliminate unnecessary processes in order to develop efficiency and cost-effectiveness that ensures a smooth transition of product from Development to Production.
• Conduct time studies for existing and new products.
• Build up and manage IE Database from Development to Production.
• Optimize manufacturing processes, set up manufacturing layout, implement line balancing in order to match with realistic production line.

*Sản xuất - Industrialization/Production
• Thu thập, đo đạc, phân tích dữ liệu từ Nhà máy, tập trung cải tiến các công đoạn.
• Hợp tác với Bộ phận Sản xuất của Osprey để thiết lập quy trình sản xuất nhằm quản lý giá nhân công.
• Tham gia thiết lập các văn bản liên quan về sản xuất.
• Làm việc nhóm để giải quyết vấn đề và phát triển chất lượng sản phẩm.
• Làm việc với Bộ phận Sản xuất của Nhà máy để bảo đảm các tài liệu và hướng dẫn được thực hiện đúng đắn.
• Các nhiệm vụ khác – Các nhiệm vụ khác được yêu cầu.

• Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data for production products, improvements of processes or costs where possible.
• Corporate with Production Team to organize processes and product flow in order to maintain and improve labor costs.
• Participates in defining and documenting procedures for all aspects of Engineering & manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Works in cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and improve product quality & existing production processes.
• Works with Factory management to ensure manufacturing SOP’s for each style have been created, verified, and are in place during production.

*Học vấn và Kinh nghiệm - Education and Experience:
• Kinh nghiệm 5 năm về sản xuất balô túi xách. Có kiến thức về may và làm layout là lợi thế.
• Có kỹ thuật may balô.
• Kiến thức về tiêu chuẩn quy trình sản xuất
• Tư duy và kỹ năng giao tiếp

• Experience: 5 years of related experience, Pack manufacture and/or cutting and making layout knowledge a plus.
• Excellent technical skills
• Knowledge of process related standards
• Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
