Landscape Architect / Landscape Documentation Team

***Reports to:
Principal of Vietnam/ Landscape Director Australia/ Project Leaders Australia/ Senior Landscape Architect.

***Purpose:
To assist in the design and delivery of a range of Landscape projects across all phases of project delivery particularly on Australian based projects.

***Responsible for:
• Landscape architectural project assistance as required
• Assistance with design and detail of projects
• Documentation of projects
• Liaison with peers in regards to project work as required
• Undertake partial or full documentation of project
• Develop design in conjunction with other members of the group
• Assist in the management of QA on projects

***Responsibilities include
Projects:
Carry out tasks as follows:
• Production of accurate, effective drawings with minimum mark-ups by Senior Landscape Architect
• Design development and documentation of various scale projects as part of a project team
• Produce drawings that comply with Group GSA Standards
• Liaising with client & consultants under the direction of project architect
• Apply relevant legislative regulations, standards and other guidance as per project requirements
• Complete and assess work against brief requirements

Design
• Maintain design integrity
• Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards
• Design and document in compliance with Group GSA standards
• Provide expert landscape design advice to GSA Architects as requested commensurate with the nature and level of the role in respect of landscape design issues.
• Apply contemporary sustainable design principals and practices.
• Analytical skills including the capacity to exercise sound judgment in developing innovative solutions to problems

Generally:
Degree in Landscape Architecture required and some working experience preferably 2 years minimum

Technical Competence:
1. IT skills including CAD (AutoCad minimum REVIT preferred)
2. Proficient in Adobe graphic packages (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator) as well as ability to potentially use programs such as Sketchup, Rhino or similar
3. Ability to sketch and communicate design ideas including Hand sketching

Qualifications:
1. Degree in Landscape Architecture
2. Evidence of ongoing professional development
3. Client testimonial as demonstration of success relative to a similar role or past track record.
4. Two year’s work experience in a professional design office
