Lab Technician (Based in Hai Phong)

Under the responsibility of the Technical support, the technician carries out all the tasks related to the sampling, testing of samples and analysis of tests results in accordance with the quality system procedures and Company’s policy. Besides the QC tasks, the lab technicians must be available for technical support to sales, operations and Company’s customers (Problem solving):

a. Equipment and Working Environment:
a. The technician is responsible of the equipment that he uses. The technician must maintain and clean his equipment and workplace on a regular basis and systematically after each test.
b. The technician must do the inventory and calibration plan of the lab equipment when required by his direct supervisor.
c. The technician must check his equipment (calibration status, condition) before using it.
b. Sampling and testing:
a. The sampling and testing must be done in accordance with all the quality procedures (Frequency, Method, Specifications…).
c. Analysis of tests results:
a. The technician must use the appropriate form for each task to be done according to the quality procedure requirements
b. The technician must ask the approval of his direct supervisor for each test result.
c. The technician must report any problem/mistake to his direct supervisor.
d. The Analysis of Tests results must be done seriously and must be checked and report to the QC Supervisor before final approval.
d. Site support:
a. Technical support for sales and customers when required
b. Troubleshooting for all activities related to the quality of the Company’s bituminous products
e. Communication:
a. With plant manager: Communication regarding QC Production/ Manufacturing All product (QC Procedure)
b. With depot manager: Communication regarding QC on bituminous product as per the Company’s Quality Policy
c. With customers and sales: Support for sampling and testing for customer and specific project
f. With third party lab: Sampling and coordination, collect certificates if needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Graduate from College and above with majoring in:
- Education of Chemical Analyst
- Education of Materials of Construction
- Education of Transport/ Civil Construction
- Experience in QA/QC
- Experience in Road Construction

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENT
- Skills in quality control of bituminous products
- Road construction techniques and construction materials knowledge
- Good English skills
- Excellent use of MS office and computer

QC Head
