Junior Purchaser

You will be a vital member of the Procurement and Logistics (PL) team within the Electrification Business Singapore (SG-ELDS), locating in Vietnam. Reporting to the procurement and logistics lead, you will provide support to the wider business by ensuring that all purchasing activities align with corporate policies and procedures.

Your responsibilities:
• Purchasing materials on behalf of the Business according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule and terms.
• Initiating purchase orders (PO) in the system according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures.
• Confirm delivery with suppliers, monitor and track supplier performance to purchase order requirements, and update SG-ELDS team timely
• Overseeing supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues.
• Assist PL Lead tin assigned PL tasks.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in related field (preferably Business Management/Economics).
• Less than 3 years of experience in Order handling and purchasing function.
• Freshers are welcomed to apply
• Demonstrated experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Knowledge of MS Office.
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
• Good command of English
