We currently have an open vacancy for a position as Junior Procurement Officer. We are looking for a professional with an open mindset, a strong drive, advanced collaboration skills, efficient worker and a “go & get done” mentality.
The successful applicants will be working in a very positive and professional environment. We offer on-the-job-training by international experts, good labor conditions and the possibility for inter-company rotation.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Preparing and support in evaluating Pre-qualifications of contractors;
- Support in preparation of Tender Packages;
- Support in sending out Tender Packages to short-listed contractors;
- Support Tender Clarification Process (BTC and ATC);
- Prepare minutes of meetings, correspondence, etc. of Tender Clarification Meetings;
- Issue performance evaluation forms, collect, check and file filled in forms in data system;
- Assist Procurement Manager in executing procurement activities in all aspects;
- Assist Procurement Manager in coordinating procurement activities between Client, Internal and External Parties;
- Responsibility for all in / out tender clarifications;
- Study FIDIC Redbook, Yellow Book and White Book contract terms;
- Support preparation of Contract conditions;
- Study issued procurement/ tender management plans;
- Report to Procurement Manager integrity issues, if any;
- Frequently contact Site Secretary to coordinate any administration work if any, e.g: recording VO’s and report these to Procurement Manager, check if Payment Certificates are issued on time.
- Other duties: Depend on reasonable requirements.

KEY QUALITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree;
- 01 year working experience in construction industry is an advantage;
- Competent user of Microsoft Office, Excel, Power-point;
- Strong in English at all skills. Good team-worker;
- Excellent organisational skills to manage and prioritise tasks and time efficiently;
- Good understand project systems and processes;
- Demonstrate initiative, Supportive, highly self-motivated, dynamic and proactivity in daily tasks and in response to instruction;
- Commercially awareness, strong work ethic, client & result orientation;
- Highly reliable and commitment personality;
- Accuracy/ attention to detail;
- Open, approachable personality;
- High attention in keeping confident information;
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
