Junior Logistics Manager (Chemical Company)

This position is responsible for Service Providers (LSP) performance management, and Safety, Control, Product Safety & Regulatory Affair, local and regulations and general HSEQ support (e.g. HSEQ training, IMS support) in order to ensure Covestro business activities are smoothly operated in Vietnam.
Major tasks:
A) Operation
1. LSP performance and relationship management - including daily performance monitoring, monthly KPI data collection & evaluation and regular performance review according to guideline given by SCC APAC regional office
2. Daily operation monitoring and exception handling to ensure smooth operation
3. Monthly inventory recociliation and annual stocktake activities
4. LSP invoice verification
5. Supply chain complaint handling relating to LSP performance - including root cause analysis, corrective action follow-up and effectiveness check
6. TM3 key user and route management
B) & Safety (TLS)
1. Conduct TLS audit
2. Ensure LSP follow Covestro global safety directives and policy
C) Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA)
1. Represent and establish HSEQ related product expertise within the country, including but not limited with emergency response and crisis communication
2. Implement product stewardship programs in the country, including providing the distributors and customers product safety and legal compliance trainings, coordinating the customer inquires
3. Monitoring upcoming legislations and communicate with regional function where appropriate, conduct regulatory product registration with support of regional function
4. Engagement in associations for business related PSRA topics
D) Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ)
1. Provide general HSEQ support within the country, e.g. HSEQ trainings, IMS support, etc…

WHAT YOU OFFER
1. At least 5 years of working experience in , supply chain industry, and HSEQ area
2. Bachelor degree in / supply chain management/ natural science/ engineering or equivalent
3. Good knowledge in safety, local regulations and requirement in Vietnam is a must
4. Ability to work independently and self-motivated
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
6. Strong negotiation skills
7. Fluent in Vietnamese and English is a must
8. Project management skills preferred
