Junior Finance Executive

The Junior Finance Executive is primarily responsible for performing the payment process for the country’s actual operating expenses. To help the International Finance Team to provide full support to the local business operations and ensuring compliance with the company policies.
• Review and release weekly payments to employees/vendors and ensure correctness on every Wednesday;
• Having close coordination/liaison with HQ Accounts Payable for set up of vendor accounts and payment processing and other matters related to Accounts Payable;
• Posting invoices to Oracle system in accordance to Accounting policies;
• Discussion with Accounting team in HQ to propose reclass/correct entries should there be any findings;
• Monitor and follow up for recurring/advance/settlement expenses and other ad hoc expenses and provide accrual, controlling aging report to submit to the Accounting team;
• Perform various Treasury ad hoc and weekly support functions;
• Act as back-up to the other Senior Finance Executive related to Account receivable support with various reconciliations by coordinating and providing needed information from external parties;
• Report directly to the International Finance Manager.

• BA in Accounting/Finance from reputable universities;
• At least 1-2 working years relevant experience in Finance/ Treasury / Payable Accounting for Service Industry companies;
• ERP experienced such as SAP and Oracle, technical skills and behavior for the role;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-sheet is a must;
• Good at oral and written English since the role will require constant communication with stakeholders from other countries;
• Highly motivated, team player, keen to details and well organized;
• Fast learner and have the initiative to perform responsibilities accurately;
• Have very good problem-solving skills and can work independently with minimum supervision.
