• Under limited supervision leads package failure analysis (FA) activities, supports new product introductions (NPI) and product development activities
• Must be comfortable analyzing all factors of complex problems and presenting concise failure analysis results to all levels of audiences.
• Must be driven to investigate root cause of failures and actively seek out and utilize technical expertise from within the company and from outside sources to assist in problem solving
• Candidate must be detail-oriented and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
• Develop new FA techniques, capabilities, and tools then proliferate to the VF FA team for alignment
• Define appropriate corrective action/suggestion to be implemented based on physical failure mechanism and data analysis, prepare technical reports, and communicate suggestions to division, Technology Development site, factory, or management team in an effective and appropriate manner

Yêu cầu ứng viên
• Bachelor/Master of science degree in Material Science and Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Electronic Assembly and Test Manufacturing
• High level of analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong technical background in materials, mechanics, acoustics, or electronic packaging is preferred
• Familiar with Lab equipment like Optical Microscope, Semiconductor Parametric Analyzers/Curve Tracing, SEM/EDX, XRAY, FTIR, etc. is a plus
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Software skills including MS Office, Excel, statistical analysis and graphing are required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Electronic Assembly and Test Manufacturing
