IT Team Leader

I. Job purpose:
IT Team Leaders coordinate and delegate the responsibilities of IT teams. They oversee the day-to-day functions of the department.
IT Team Leader also conducts training sessions with employees so that they can be equipped with new knowledge and skills to remain current.

II. Working hours: You are required to work 44 hours per week.

III. Duties:
1. Manage the operation of IT function
- To plan, organize, control, evaluate and make report on operations of the College‘s information system.
- To manage and control/ monitor the maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of the college‘s IT systems, including PCs, operating systems, hardwares, softwares.
- To set up/ deploy and develop technological infrastructure: network infrastructure, hard ware and services (e.g: internet, internet line…), application of software and its services, integration solutions.
- To foresee, establish and implement the IT- related policies and procedures, eg. Security information, building the database store system…
- Timely responds to problems, request and propose the best solutions for the college.
2. Manage and control the network system
- To control network including LAN/WAN networks/ internet line/phone line/switch board/tablet/printers/ …..
- Manage all IT assets
3. To provide the advices, recommendation to the College management in respect regarding the policies, procedures.
- Providing training to all staff regarding the IT system for information
4. Others task assigned by Vice Principal – Administration.

1. Qualification: Bachelor Degree or Higher in Computer Technician, Information Technology,..
2. English proficiency: IELTS (4.5) or equivalent
3. Experience:
- Minimum three year professional experience working in similar position.
- Having experience in international schools, colleges or universities is preferred
4. Other requirements:
- Sound organisational and time management skills.
- Staff management and supervision.
- Sound interpretative, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Current knowledge of technologies, trends and practices in the Information Technology sector.
- Enthusiasm to be continually learning
