Due to the expansion of the British University Vietnam, we are recruiting:

Job title:                                  IT Support Officer

Report to:                                     ICT Manager

Work location:                   Ecopark township

Job Objective:

To provide support in the field of IT for all staff of BUV

Key responsibilities:

1. Ensures the seamless operation of End-User ICT system:

Install all the software in the company - operating System, office software, backup software, Utilities, Anti-virus software...)
Take care of anti-virus, speed optimize and hard disk defragment for all computers of the company
Trouble-shoot hardware and software issues
Setup and manage end-user printing facilities
Implement strictly all the company’s processes and systems, IT policies

2. Responsibilities in other ICT disciplinaries:

ICT procurement and asset management
AV System operation and support for end-user utilization
Setup and operate technology based labs: Computer Games design lab, Digital Lab, Cyber security lab, etc.
Support sales/marketing depts. in events/activities: audio/video system setup for events, mass email campaigns
Website content and hosting management

3. Self development

Self-train on new technologies
Participate in and contribute to department ideation exercises
Encouraged to self-learning to develop and integrate some small software/utilities for internal usage

4. Undertake other assignments as delegated by Line manager and/or the BOD

Job Requirements:

Vietnamese national
University degree, preferably in Computer Science, Informatics Technology, etc.
Microsoft or IBM certificates on IT (MCSE, etc) is a plus
At least 2 years experience in IT field, including Network operating system, Windows Server, Mail, Internet and Online Cloud based service
Windows Server Active Directory Network
Office 365 and Google Suite services
Audio/Video systems setup and maintenance
Planning & Executing Backup Plans (file server, database)
Networking Hardware Installation & Maintenance
Good ability to self-train on new technologies
Good communication in English
