Reports to: Head of IT North
Key internal relationships: Area Managers, Brand Managers, Outlet Managers & staff, Office Managers & staff, IT Group Manager & all IT Staff
* Aim - Brief overview of job purpose:
The IT Support-North is responsible for ensuring that the IT systems (including HO & outlets of North/Middle area) are installed and operating properly, system security measures are in place, network and database are well maintained and utilized to their maximum potential, and that new systems are installed and operating properly to improve company efficiency and profitability, while adhering to AFG standards.
* Key Accountabilities:
1. Oversee IT systems.
2. Liaise with 3rd parties

4. Monitoring and Reporting
5. Documentation
* Duty Statements:
1. Oversee all aspects of AFG’s IT solutions, including North/Middle Office’ system, POS & restaurant computers (both online and on-site where required). Provide monthly report on issues, fixes and enhancements.
1.1. Work as the Level 1 IT service.
1.2. Serve as the “in house” expert on IT set up, installation, issue troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance of IT hardware and software (Microsoft Windows, Office, NAV/POS, TS24, etc.)
1.3. Ensure PC, laptop, POS, tablet, server, LAN/WAN, WiFi, phone/Internet lines, printer, camera/TV/conference room systems, network cable, email, outlet database, antivirus software, etc. are functioning to support users and business needs
1.4. Implement all measures to make sure systems are fast, secured and reliable such as daily checklist, periodically maintenance.
1.5. Make sure database/file backup properly for all systems.
1.6. Work as backup Head of IT for the North/Middle.
2. Liaise with our 3rd party contractors for maintenance of our HO/restaurant systems.
2.1. Ensure effective relationships and communication with 3rd party contractors to ensure AFG business needs met in a timely manner.
2.2. Move IT equipment to 3rd party for maintenance/repair if needed.
3. IT Improvements:
3.1. Propose, get approval & implement best practices on infrastructure, database, security.
3.2. Develop and implement training/FAQ on using basic IT systems.
4. Monitoring and Reporting:
4.1. Monitor and report on ongoing issues with the IT/POS and recommendations for improvements, changes or modifications that would be beneficial for all aspects of AFG IT program
4.2. Manage and monitor the workflow/data transfer of the NAV/POS (and LAN/WAN) in consultation with the relevant operational staff/3rd party if needed.
5. Documentation:
5.1. Ensure that all issues, concerns, problems and outcomes related to the IT/POS system are well documented and reported to Head of IT-North/Group IT Manager.
5.2. Keep record for basic software license and IT equipment for North/Middle

Requirements of the role:
• University/College/Technical degree in IT or equivalence. Prefer candidate with training/certificates on network such as Microsoft, Cisco, database management, security.
• 2+ years’ experience on IT infrastructure and end user support role, preferably in hospitality/retail.
• Ability to self-study and update technology.
• Good customer service skills and team spirit.
• Be enthusiastic, hardworking, careful and able to work under pressure.
• Prefer candidate with basic English communication and be able to read/understand technical English document.
• Ability to demonstrate the 3 Core Values of AFG: Respect, Enthusiasm and Integrity
