IT Specialist

Purpose
• Supports Delivery operation on the WMS, TMS, Labelling system and IT related issues & other projects in collaboration with the system support team and SME team
• Installs, monitors and troubleshoots computer hardware and software system
• Supports Project Management for entire VCM area

Principal Accountability

Liaison with system support team:
• Investigate, fix or raise to regional support team and follow up the resolve when having issue with WnD systems
• Review with operations for the improvement of DC systems to effectively apply in daily operation
• Working with operation and regional support team for the change request, system test and deployment
• Supporting operations on system and process whenever having new request or new operation set up
• Train the end user on the WnD systems
• Co-ordinate, support local IT team on the relevant IT infrastructure issues at all WnD sites
• Handle other ad-hoc tasks

Liaison with IT team:
• IT Helpdesk and following up the resolution of IT related issue
• Backup and backfill for local IT dedicated for WnD when needed
• Network and hardware infrastructure evaluation & assessment to support the WnD Manger on making decision

Project co-ordinating:
• Ensures documentation for the project
• Tracks progress against the plan Monitors cost, timescales and resources used, and recommends action where these deviations from agreed tolerances
• Coordinates activities, resources, equipment, and information
• Coordinates project phases and scheduling
• Provides technical support and issue management
• Establishes effective communications with stakeholders
• May have leadership responsibility for a small project team
• May be responsible for delivery of project plan, scope, cost, work schedule, design and build as well as contractual deliverable
• May carry out detailed requirements analysis and sizing of project team
• May manage project resources including subcontractors
• May be responsible for ensuring delivery to the project plan and budget

- University graduated in IT software field
- Minimum 2 – 3 years of working experience in IT Support field.
- Experience in WMS, TMS and Contract Logistics is an advantage
- Experienced in troubleshoot system, software.
- To be involved in system testing as required.
- Knowledge about SQL server, Microsoft excel VBA/Macro, preferably experience in coding development and programming.
- Experiences in WMS (warehouse system management) system is preferred
- Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)
- Good command of English
- Good communication skills and the ability to communicate confidently
- Teamwork and customer-minded attitude
