IT Senior Consultant – IT Advisory Services

To expand our team and create opportunities for experienced IT Consultant, IT Advisory Team of EY Vietnam – both Hanoi Office & Ho Chi Minh Office are looking for highly motivated individuals people to join our diverse team of Core Advisory professionals.


Position summary:

- Take responsibility to work on IT Consulting and Implementation Projects among the following 04 areas:
o IT Transformation: IT operational effectiveness and business case development, IT Strategy, ITOM, IT Architecture, IT Solution design (including package solutions), Program and Project management
o Big Data: Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics
o Digital Solutions, Intelligent Automation, Robotic Process Automation,
o System Implementation: ERP, Core Banking, Finance, Risk, HR…
- Understand EY’s service offerings to actively identify engagement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

 - Conduct the working sessions with clients independently including interviews to gather User requirements on IT solutions, workshops to present work products, meetings to update/resolve project matters;
 - Document, analyze collected information and proactively clarify clients’ business requirements and system functionality specifications if any;
 - Provide independent assessment and comments for Current State of IT Operations;
 - Provide independent recommendations or consulting ideas for Future State of the IT Solutions;
 - Lead a team on client engagements to complete specific project work streams: improve a business process with IT embedment
 - Work closely with the project manager in project progression, quality, people and risk management to execute the project plan that meet client’s expectations on IT business requirements and performance improvement.
 - Actively participate and contribute in client engagement via building and maintaining the interactions with client personnel;
 - Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks
 - Develop relationships with team members across all EY Practices to serve client needs
 - Supervise and coach the juniors to help them develop their capabilities
 - Conduct internal team training and project lesion learnt sharing sections
 - Support the team in project document preservation

Requirements:

- At least 3 years of working experience in the relevant IT focused Areas related to enterprise/banking technology architecture including applications, integration, data, security, operations, and development, with a minimum of 2 years in IT project engagement in reputation organizations
- In-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge;
- Having a strong Business Acumen, understand of the business organizations, processes and related regulations any of following business functions:
o Manufacturing,
o Supply Chain
o Banking and Finance,
o Commerce,
o Logistics
- Ability to assimilate new knowledge and passion for continuous improvement
- Possessing strong analytical, critical thinking, detail-oriented document and research capability
- Being Excellent at oral and written Vietnamese/English communication and problem solving skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of stakeholders (both EY internal team and the client organization)
- MS Office proficiency (excel, power point, word)
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally;

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent programs related to required areas;
- Having working exposure towards core system implementation of ERP, Core Banking or the latest emerging technologies such as Cloud, SaaS, PaaS, Mobility, Analytical, and Digital
- Having membership certificates of Agile Scrum, PMP, TOGAF and ITIL would be a plus.
