IT Security - IT Infrastructure Section

*** Job Scope / Position Summary
• Responsible for:
o Ensuring anti-virus software, intrusion detection, firewalls and content filtering.
o Disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies and methods
o Gathering information and evidence to serve audit requirements.
o Updating security and service packs for Applications, Systems and Network Devices
o Ensure the CVSS > 9 ratio is matched to the company policy

• Assistant and consultant to Manager in:
o Designing secure networks, systems and application architectures.
o Planning, researching and developing security policies, standards and procedures
o System administration, supporting multiple platforms and applications
o Choosing Endpoint security solutions, including file integrity monitoring and data loss prevention
o Cloud computing security.
o Automating security testing tools
• Perform tasks assigned by the Line Manager

*** Main Responsibility
• Develop and carry out information security plans and policies
• Develop strategies to respond to and recover from a security breach
• implement tools to assist in detection, prevention and analysis of security threats
• Awareness training of the workforce on information security standards, policies and best practices
• Implement protections, patching on Applications, Systems, Devices.
• Installation and use of firewalls, data encryption and other security products and procedures
• Conduct periodic network scans to find any vulnerability
• Conduct penetration testing, simulating an attack on the system to find exploitable weaknesses
• Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, through the use of software that detects intrusions and anomalous system behavior
• Investigate security breaches
• Lead incident response, including steps to minimize the impact and then conducting a technical and forensic investigation into how the breach happened and the extent of the damage

* Education:
• University or College graduate in Computer Hardware or IT related.

* Experience:
• Minimum of 1-3 year related IT System Administrator
• Minimum 3 years IT Security or related
• Respond to and recover from a security breach
• Implement patching on Applications, Systems, Devices

• Good communication (both verbal and writing) skills;

• Strong organizational skills
