IT Project Manager/ Analyst

Role purpose

The IT Project Manager/ Analyst is responsible for:
1. Conducting and overseeing any company’s projects by applying technical expertise in IT Project Management as well as business expertise in Life Insurance
2. For a manager level, she/ he has to manage directly one or many persons and oversees the relationship with any providers involving to ensure a high quality of services and deliveries

Key Accountabilities

• Define and ensure that the projects are delivered on-time, resource availability and allocation (internal and external), within scope (needs, requirements, constraints, regulation, etc.), within budget and with a high level of quality, as well as identify project team members, set project organization (governance, committees, workshops, etc.) and find/ select providers if needed
• Work and maintain a good communication between IT Team and any stakeholders (internal/ external, business, experts, etc.)
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/ vendors for the flawless execution of projects, establish and maintain relationships with third parties/ vendors
• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility by working closely with the IT Team/ experts/ providers, etc.
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and keep informed (by communication, documents, meetings, etc.) all stakeholders involving in the project and all the project’s members particularly the project’s sponsor
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, techniques and deliver reports
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Set and animate all meetings and committee
• Drive the relationship with our provider in charge project developments: monitor and control, ensure respect of deadline and quality of deliveries, challenge provider on his estimate

For a manager level, she/ he has to:
• Manage daily his/ her team by fixing priorities, sharing tasks/ actions, giving support/ help/ motivation, doing coaching/ training, doing appraisal, etc.
• Participate and contribute to:
- Define annual IT Budget
- Define IT Master Plan
- Any others activities/ tasks assigned by Head of Information System Department
• Identifying and implementing KPIs and project milestones
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Education: Master/ Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalence

Other required Degree, Professional Qualifications and Certifications: ITIL/ AGILE/ Project Management

Technical/ Professional/ Specific Competency Requirements:
• Good knowledge of Information System environment and components
• Knowledge of software development life cycle, and technology
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Time and budgeting management
• The ability to communicate within a multi-disciplined team, across multiple locations and time zones, and to interact with demanding business users
• Good at logical orientations, analytical and quantitative skills
• Good at presentation, problem solving skills and team working
• Willing to travel regularly every month

Relevant Working Experience
• At least 2-5 years in IT Projects (product development, application developments, web application technologies, database management systems, business operation/processes, …)

Required Languages
• Fluent English & Vietnamese
