Install and configure computer hardware operating systems, POS
Monitor and maintain POS, printer, applications and networks, ensure POS systems work all the time
Talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
Work eight-hour shifts follow to the suppermarket (7am - 2pm; 2pm - 9pm)
Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
Prioritise and manage many open cases at one time
Support for another site when required

Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
Good communication skills
Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
Experience in computer systems and POS systems
Ability to troubleshoot for network infrastructure
Ability to train for users about IS systems
