IT Business Application Support

Reports to: Country IT Manager (plus dotted line to Plant Manager)
Department: Information Technology Global Supply Chain

* Job Function/Purpose:
Responsible for the training, end user support, and implementation of HbI manufacturing applications (New Wear) and SAP applications for Hung Yen and Hai Bao facilities. Must be able to interact with the local operation management team in order to implement business process improvements related to technology. Must be able to integrate and manage the operation and efficiency of all applications throughout the entire production process.

* List Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following
1. Serve as the Super-user of all applications related to the production processes.
2. Responsible for local application administration duties on all in-plant applications including manufacturing, purchasing, planning, product structures, accounting, human resource and payroll. Must understand how systems and business link together.
3. Define application training plans
4. Conduct application training for users
5. Support on-site ad hoc query requirements
6. Review and document business processes, identify process issues and recommend solutions to management in order to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the production applications and processes.
7. Participate in the project planning process with end users, business analysts and team members.
8. Serve as the 24x7 on call support for assigned production application(s).
9. Adhere to and provide accountability for application security procedures, change control guidelines Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and Global IT and Business Standards and Policies.

* Describe Nature and Scope:
Provides support to end users of various IT applications. Works on multiple assignments as a team member and/or project technical leader. Works on small to large, highly complex assignments/systems/issues that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and possesses knowledge of specific business area. Interacts with internal and external customers. Provides technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to less experienced team members. Position is viewed as the technical expert.

- Education/Degrees: Bachelor’s degree
- Special Skills: Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
- Language: English fluency
- Years of experience: 3+ years
- Type of Experience: End user support and/or Business/systems analysis
- Required Travel: Rarely
- Other desired skills: Garment or textile industry
