IT Admin Help Desk

As the IT Medical Center staff at Vietnam Medical Practice, the incumbent of this position will maintain fully functional systems, minimize downtime and provide customers with the tools and training to accomplish their assigned tasks in a productive, efficient and effective manner.
The incumbent will be responsible for all workstation hardware and software installed at post and all aspects of systems operations including management of the Consulate’s Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) infrastructure. The incumbent will also perform assigned duties in accordance with overall automation objectives established by management.
- General responsibility of taking care the IT infrastructure of medical centers.
- Support and do other tasks assigned by is managers.
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work

- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Information Technology, Science, or Engineering is required.
- Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in with computer Hardware, Core Infrastructures and system
administration in a technical environment.
- A strong knowledge of computer system hardware and Microsoft Windows operating systems
- solid understanding of computer networking techniques and administration
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently and as a team member. Must have the skill to
communicate effectively to explain/deliver complex systems information and the abilities to
- Handle a variety of tasks at the same time (multitasking)
- work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Fluent in Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required;
- Knowledge about Networking and System Management
- Knowledge about Virtual Environments and its application in Biz Environments
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of complex information and requirements
- Good prioritization skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans
- Good evaluation skills
- Confidence in decision-making
- An ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints
