Functional Roles
1. Consider investments in financial products such as stocks, bonds, corporate bonds, investment units of local and foreign mutual funds, fixed income, private funds, structured products, asset borrowing, foreign fixed income, and derivatives that can offer target returns and complies with the Company’s policies, laws, and regulations.
2. Calculate, monitor, and forecast expected return of each product and present to Executives / Committee members for approval consideration.
3. Uses financial models to project future earning and profit potential and uses this data to inform decisions and proposals
4. Monitor and manage the Company’s investment portfolio to achieve target returns and comply with related rules and regulations.
5. Closely monitor liquidity and amount of cash received for the Company’s investments and maintain the cash at the Company's target level.
6. Monitor, check, and manage subordinates in the reporting line to perform assigned tasks correctly and to achieve set targets.
7. Coordinate with Accounting Department to book investments.
8. Engages in regular research and reading to stay apprised about the state of the economy, global financial markets, and general current events
9. Maintains current knowledge about financial products including bonds, stocks, investments, and trusts
10. Meets with investment teams, including analysts and other managers, to stay up-to-date about market situations and company decisions that may impact one another
11. Works closely with investment analysts to assess financial information and investment opportunities
12. Presents investment opportunities and related analysis while pitching proposed course of action in meetings with clients

Planning and Management:
1. Create a work plan for the Team in accordance with the business plan and the target of the Department
2. Participate in setting the annual budget of the Team
3. Manage operational costs to stay within the budget and use resources efficiently
4. Manage, monitor, and measure performance of the team in accordance with the business plan and the target
5. Participate in planning manpower and the Team’s structure
6. Supervise, assess, and manage performance of Team

Others:
1. Study, enhance knowledge and follow information, news, updated technology and new knowledge regularly in order to apply with work in the team
2. Co-plan or co-develop process/method/procedure/standard of work in the Department in which related staff could perform accordingly
3. Set up a work plan, monitor, control, check, and measure performance of activities or projects according to the Company’s policy
4. Perform other tasks assigned by a superior

1. Education level: At least a Master’s Degree in Finance, Investment, or related fields. Completed CFA certification
2. Work experience: At least 4 years of experience at managerial level in investment in financial products and credit analyst. Experience in insurance field.
3. Skills:
- Have leadership skills to perform their work with full efficiency in order to achieve the targets of the Company.
- Formulate action plan, supervise, control, monitor, evaluate, coaching, skills in communication, and coordinator.
- Numerate, analytical and methodical; capable of evaluating complex financial information
- Knowledgeable about capital market, investments and valuations.
- Eager to learn with an understanding of world business and financial affairs and an awareness of trends and current activity in the financial market
- Good judgement and decision-making skills
- Ability to liaise effectively with clients and other organisations
- Confident and positive image
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for writing reports and negotiating with clients.
