International Transfer Coordinator

The role

The International Transfer Coordinator coordinates all activities relating to students transferring their studies from RMIT Vietnam to RMIT Melbourne, as well as other global partners. The role works closely with colleagues in Student Recruitment and International across all RMIT locations to ensure timely and efficient provision of information to both current and prospective students on all matters relating to international transfer of study program.

Key responsibilities

- Ensure for the delivery of quality and timely service for RMIT Vietnam students interested in program transfer
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the University’s global network to deliver quality customer care to transfer students’ pre and post-departure
- Deliver regular presentations to current students, as well as maintain regular hours for enquiry relating to all aspects of international transfer
- Collaborate with colleagues, partners and agents to organise events and promotions of transfer opportunities

Key selection criteria:

- Demonstrated high level communication skills
- Well-developed and demonstrable interpersonal skills, including negotiation, liaison, and cross-cultural communication specifically in relation to customer relationship and sales functions
- Demonstrated awareness of current issues and best practice in relation to customer service
- Experience in end-to-end delivery of high quality events
- Proven ability to provide accurate and accessible reports
- Experience in developing and delivering presentations to varied audiences
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team environment

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS

If English is not your first language, or you have not completed secondary education in an English speaking institution in an English speaking country, then you will be required to demonstrate a minimum English language proficiency standard at a BULATS Intermediate level (BULATS score 65), equivalent to IELTS (General) 6.0.

If you are not sure your current level of English language proficiency, RMIT Vietnam will provide opportunities for you to undertake testing if you are shortlisted for the position.
