Internal Auditor

Perform or assist in the performance of independent audits in accordance with departmental and professional standards.

Examine and evaluate the adequacy of the Company’s system of internal controls.

Assist in planning the approach and scope of specific audit assignments.

Conduct reviews to appraise the effectiveness and efficiency of particular areas/departments.

Perform survey functions and activities in assigned areas to determine and document the nature of operations; identify key controls and evaluate the adequacy of the system of internal controls to achieve established objectives

Draft audit reports and audit report scope statements at the conclusion of audits/reviews for review by Internal Audit management.

MINIMUM EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Business or a related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion in both spoken and written English.
• Interpersonal skills with focused attention to client needs to deal effectively with all business contacts.
• Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to the Company’s appearance standards.
• Maintain consistent adherence to the Company’s Code of Conduct and the Institute of Internal Auditor’s Code of Ethics.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

SPECIFIC POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• One to two years audit/accounting related experience, public accounting experience a plus.CPA/CIA or equivalent a plus.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Physical ability to access all areas of the property.
• Be able to work under high pressure environment and maintain physical stamina, proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with clients, management, employees, and outside contacts.
