Mô tả công việc
Reports to:
- Director
- Principal/Associate Director
Responsible for:
- Client Management
- Project Delivery (all stages)
- Team Leadership
- Assist with Implementation of the Business Plan
- Undertake special project adding value to the Practice
Purpose:
- To manage and direct projects for budget compliance
- To reduce dependence on Directors and Associate Directors
- Prepare EOIs, proposals & tenders
Responsibilities:
1. Projects
- Establish project plan
- Manage client with regular reporting
- Establish team, tasks and deliverables
- Direct team in carriage of the work
- Check documentation for quality and accuracy
- Ensure budget (fee and project) is met
- Ensure project delivery on time
- Prepare design and construction documents as required
- Secure client testimonial
2. Marketing
- Maintain and build upon your own and potential client base
- Prepare EOI’s, proposals and tenders
- Prepare fee proposals
- Respond to enquiries
- Follow up leads
- Maintain market intelligence
- Build long term client relationships
- Make presentations to clients
3. Design
- Initiate briefing process with the client
- Initiate design direction (in conjunction with Director)
- Communicate design concepts
- Direct preparation of design drawings
- Maintain knowledge across workplace reform issues and new trends
- Maintain market knowledge of materials, workstation and walling systems, furniture, lighting, fabrics etc.
4. Raise Profile of GSA
- Participate in design profile events
- Assist in getting work published
- Network at industry functions
- Tutor at University / College (optional)
5. Management
- Interface with Associates, Associate Director and Principals for the smooth operation of the firm, and relative to company development and Issues Including:
• Resourcing
• Training
• Quality Assurance
• Documentation
• Sector Knowledge
6. Leadership
- Be a role model to peers and junior staff
- Initiate good practice and new ideas
- Mentor junior staff
- Interact with senior staff in development of company process
- Assist in interviewing for new staff
- Initiate a project outside the client project role that will add value to GSA
7. WHS
- Provide and maintain, so far as practicable, a workplace that is safe and without risk to health
- Provide appropriate supervision, instruction, training and information to employees so that they may perform their tasks in a safe manner

Generally:
- The person must have a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in the architecture industry or interior design.
- Must have a track record of excellent client management through the delivery of projects.
- Must have lead teams up to 2 staff in the design, documentation and delivery of architectural/interior project.
Personality and Attributes:
1. Confident and persuasive with ability to convince clients of capability and ideas.
2. Personal presence to establish team spirit and collaboration.
3. Results oriented leadership that has the respect of staff, peers, directors and clients.
4. Energy, drive and passion to delivery projects.
5. Good communicator, positive and pragmatic.
6. Self starter, shows initiative, has a sense of urgency.
7. Strong presence in negotiation with the flexibility to incorporate others’ points of view.
8. Has other interests and a balanced lifestyle.
Leadership:
1. Successful track record of leading project teams and ability to mentor junior staff.
2. Successful participation and contribution to business development.
3. Ability to lead a project and deliver a successful outcome to budget profit.
Technical Competence:
1. Demonstrated design ability through completed projects.
2. IT skills including CAD to document major projects
3. Ability to sketch and communicate design ideas.
4. Writing skills sufficient to prepare a project proposal, EOI or report.
Qualifications:
1. Qualified architect or interior designer with accreditation from University or equivalent technical institution.
2. Evidence of ongoing professional development.
3. Client testimonial as demonstration of success relative to a similar role or past track record.
