Interior Architect / Team Leader

Can you showcase the influence of lighting?
We’re looking for an Interior Architect / Team Leader to join our growing team in Ho Chi Minh to develop Unios showrooms, retail displays, exhibitions, trade shows and other brand activations. The role requires a self-starter able to work autonomously and together with the Australian team with an interest in lighting and its ability to influence.

Job Duties
• Design concept proposals for a range of spaces including offices, showrooms, pop up events and trade show booths
• Project management the entire cycle of projects from brief to delivery
• Planning and implementing regular updates to Unios showrooms and distributor retail stores
• Provide proposals for visual merchandising and styling of areas within partner retail stores
• Liaise with local suppliers, builders and trade shows to coordinate projects
• Collaborate with external designers and architects on larger scale projects
• Work closely and be in constant communication with the Australian design team
• Support marketing activities and activations in local markets in Australia and South East Asia
• Be a team leader to the Design team in Vietnam, providing support and acting as a link between the Australian and Vietnam offices

You possess the following skillset to suit the role:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and, preferably, AutoCAD are embedded in your DNA
• Four or more years working experience in interior architecture
• A keen eye for design quality and minimalism
• Experience working with designing interior spaces with lighting products is desirable
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Outgoing and personable with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Ability to travel domestically in Vietnam and to Australia
