Inspector

*GENERAL SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for ensuring that products sourced from SE Asia suppliers comply with Company specifications and the safety requirements of the distribution market.

- Majority focusing on product inspections at the source factory. Assess product’s conformance to specifications. Document inspection results in writing, with appropriate photographs. Communicate results to QA team, as required.
- Other assignments as following to be covered of this position:
- Conduct product and process audit at supplier site according to quality checklist and follow up improvement plan
- Audit factory QA records to collect data related to product manufacturing, support production test plan requirements, or to collect data to support a problem solving team.
- Co-operate with Factory’s QC and manufacturing personnel to ensure effective inspection and testing are implemented and maintained
- Maintain Quality Documents updating: Defect Manual, Record and storage Inspection Report, Record and update status quality issue…
Decision Making Capabilities (List the three most important decisions made while performing the job).
- Determine the compliance of raw materials, work-in-process, and/or finished goods to established component/product specifications.
- Determine if product quality issues can be handled locally or need to be escalated.

**JOB SPECIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, skills and abilities normally required for competent performance in the job.)

- B.S. degree in a technical discipline required.
- At least two year experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment or inspector experience
- Knowledge of statistical methods required.
- Proficiency in MS Office: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook…
- Ability to interpret product specifications
- Ability to interpret testing procedures and develop test reports based on findings.
- Fluency in Vietnamese required; fluency in Chinese as required, can be read and understand document in English.
