Infrastructure Development Manager

Role purpose
The Infrastructure Development Manager is responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and retirement of the systems and personnel that are at the core of an organization. The services under the responsibility of the Infrastructure Manager are typically the underpinning (or supporting) services that enable the delivery of customer-facing IT services.

Key Accountabilities
• Oversee the 24/7/365 operation of Infrastructure including telecommunications, workstations, end-user computing and support, service desk, telephony and video teleconferencing.
• Oversee the vision, direction and support of all IT infrastructure, internal/co-location/cloud data centers, networks, disaster recovery, and vendor management as it relates to global networks, server and storage management, end-user telecommuting/collaboration, telephony, video conferencing, and security.
• All management of the outsourced and third-party vendors for IT services, support, products, and integration.
• Establish technical standards, with regard to platforms, frameworks and roadmaps; ensure that the technical standards are communicated and used effectively throughout application development.
• Provide leadership to ensure that the portfolio of applications is fundamentally sound and fully integrated.
• Provide leadership over existing and new programs, policies and procedures for IT Infrastructure operations and IT Security. Continuously work to improve the IT Infrastructure organizations’ operation through evaluation and implementation of industry best practices, benchmark analysis and metrics.
• Effectively and regularly communicate upgrades and changes to the end-user community.
• Hands-on, 24/7, personal touch to providing end-user care; and subsequent regular communication through Communicate IT and monitoring the technical operations of all layers of IT Infrastructure.
• Support the corporate innovation agenda by creating a dynamic IT organization and environment.
• Effectively manage the expense and capital budget, ensuring that the system requirements are known and socialized through effective planning and communication with the stakeholders, including an agreed-upon prioritization process that reflects the company goals.
• Manage IT resource requirements to ensure appropriate balance between tactical and strategic demands.
• Motivate and lead an organization that effectively supports the business by hiring, developing and retaining highly qualified staff.
• Ensure infrastructure delivered in projects are operationally ready.

Infrastructure Service Management:
• Plan, track, review and monitor, schedule and project issues related to infrastructure services.
• Provide Planning for infrastructure hardware, software deployment.

Infrastructure Solutions Deployment:
• Ensure infrastructure setup are compliant with Assurance's architecture standards and info security policies.
• Review infra design architecture (database, system interfaces, network, middleware, platform).
• Ensure the robustness and resiliency of the system architecture design.

Infrastructure Implementation Services:
• Manage and deploy infrastructure services to DEV/SIT/UAT/DR/PRD environment.

Education: Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalence

Technical/ Professional/ Specific Competency Requirements:
• Good understanding of infrastructure technology spanning across wide range of following infra domains, but not limited to: Platform, Virtualization, Network, Security, Database, Middleware technologies.
• Good communication skills and able to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Have good analytical skills and adept in infrastructure integration work
• Ability to anticipate potential risks and activities required to meet project infrastructure requirements
• Collaborative approach within and across different team and work closely with project managers
• ITIL knowledge especially in the areas of Incident Management, Problem
• Strong business oriented spirit and delivery processing skills

Relevant Working Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience in the IT environment, preferably in the Assurance industry.

Required Languages: Fluent English & Vietnamese
