Mô tả công việc
- Implements all infection control programs designed by the Infection Prevention and Control team and Infection control committee together with infection control supervisor in collaboration with quality management and ensures effective infection prevention and control in the hospital.
- Do the notification report of communicable and infectious diseases in AIH as required by the DOH and MOH which is in Vietnamese which is some conducted daily, some monthly, and some urgent reporting cases.
- Participates in the planning, organizing, and implementing of an Infection Prevention anb control program (IPCP) at the hospital.
- Communicates regularly with the infection control supervisor, IPC committee chair and consultant.
- Provides orientation/training and updates on Infection Prevention (IPC) and control Pratices for medical staff and employees.
- Monitors compliance with infection control and prevention programs policies and practices,including compliance in hand hygiene.
- Conducts prevalence and epidemiologic surrveillance studies and audits in targeted units of the hospital in coordination with the departmental/unit managers.
- Analyzes and synthesizes and do appropriate root cause analyses (RCA) of each case of detected hospital associated infection.
- Reports monthly and quarterly hospital associated infection and related fata to qualily improvement and patient safety core and infection control committee
- Analyzes quarterly antibiotic susceptibility of bacteria isolates from inpatients of the hospital in cooperation with pharmacy department.
- Analyzes antibiotic usage in the hospital.
- Investigates infection disease reported outbreak in the hospital.
- Investigates individual cases of reportable disease admitted in the hospital and in the doctor's clinics in coordination with Emergency department and medical records.
- Investigates and does appropriate RCA of all neddle stick injuries and mucous splash events in coordination with Emergency department and involved staff.
- Establishes continuing liaison with the Employee Pre-Emplotment and Periodic health screening and assists in the development and maintenance of related programs designed to detec possible hospital associated infection sources.
- Recommentds and follows up implemention of corrective action emanating from RCA of hospital associated infection.
- Recommends recognition programs for exemplars on infection control and prevention to the Quality improvement and risk management manager for approval of CMO, COO, and CEO.
- Recommends proative process improvements to enhance/ ensure infection prevention and patient safety.
- Support Infection Control committee in performing specific functions.
- Participates in internal quality surveys as scheduled.
- Advises and supports managers in the implementation of infection control program.
- Performs other duties that may be assigned to or required of the job.

Yêu cầu ứng viên
- Graduate of any four (4) year Bachelor’s degree in healthcare (e.g nurse, doctor, or allied health)
- Certification and training in hospital infection prevention and control.
- Preferably with certification in quality management and patient safety, risk management.
- Minimum of 5 years’ clinical experience and 1-2 years in administrative position in quality or infection control or similar role in a Hospital.
- Preferably with JCI experience.
- Worked in a JCI accredited hospital with at least 200 beds
- With experiential knowledge of quality improvenment processes, patient safety, risk management, strategic planning, and policy development is preferred.
- Knowledge with JCI and MOH standards on quality or preferably with JCI experience.
- Knowledge of elementary statistics, sampling theory and error analysis techniques preferred
-Excellent communication skills (written and oral) for both English and Vietnamese
-Proficient in MS office applications and programs related to statistics, data collection and analysis
- Planning and organizational abilities, e.g: Highly motivated self-starter, Ability to priorities workload and work flexibly, Ability to meet deadlines with tight timescales
- Interpersonal /Communication Skills: Ability to relate well both verbally and in writing with staff all levels in the organization, Ability to work effectively on own initiative and within different teams, Ability to give clear oral presentations and training in both groups and individually, Ability to write clear reports appropriate to requirements
- Demonstrated capacity for embracing change and learning new technologies
-Team player and able to take leadership role if requested
