Industrial Engineer

***OVERVIEW
Industrial engineers focus on how to get the work done most efficiently, balancing many factors—such as time, number of workers needed, available technology, actions workers need to take, achieving the end product with no errors, workers' safety, environmental concerns, and cost.

***DUTIES/ TASKS
1. Apply statistical methods, time measurement studies and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards.
2. Implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and defective or damaged parts, and assess cost and responsibility.
3. Analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives of finished product.
4. Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization.
5. Recommend methods for improving utilization of personnel, material, and utilities.
6. Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.
7. Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency
8. Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
9. Estimate production cost and effect of product design changes for management review, action, and control.
10. Defining and maintaining each product's bill of material (BOM) for use across the organization.
11. Writing, publishing new and updated manufacturing control documents (MCDs) to reflect agreed process and BOM changes.
12. Working with our Maintenance and Production teams to understand the root cause of issues that are affecting equipment or utility performance.
13. Other jobs will be assigned by Production & WH Manager

***QUALIFICATION
1. University degree in Industrial Engineer, industrial management, Chemical Engineer
2. Intermediate English and good in Computer
3. Knowledge of production processes
4. Over 3 years in international manufacturing environment. Knowledge in composite planter or ceramics is a plus.
5. Critical thinking, time management
6. Strong communication skills and able to work independently.
