Mô tả công việc
The Indent Sales Deputy Manager is responsible with the Sales Manager for developing and guiding a commercial plan and approach, the day to day commercial and operational activities as well as the financial results.
The ISDM builds a strong visibility on the suppliers and demand side, in terms of market price evolutions, customer requirements to support and implement the commercial sales strategy.
The Indent Sales Deputy Manager directly supervises the commercial support and administration team-members and reports to the Indent Sales Manager.
The responsibilities of the Indent Sales Deputy Manager include but are not limited to
• Prospecting & Trading
o Identify and contact and evaluating potential new customer and suppliers in the assigned market
o Build and sustain a strong relationship within a network of key customers & suppliers
o Identify and negotiating profitable transactions (and long-term contracts)
o Ensuring continuous sales pipeline
1. Developing & implementing the commercial strategy
o Identify and evaluate new market opportunities (new customers/ products / services)
o Decide on commercial priorities and the approach (how) to further grow the business
o Build and maintain strong relationships with important customers & suppliers (with traders)
o Collect information on competition, sales trends, business opportunities and results within the assigned market providing input during monthly business review
2. Financial management
o Establish with the Indent Sales Manager a clear and ambitious annual budget aligned with the group’s strategy
o Monitor monthly the financial results and review options to improve/optimize results
o Review weekly receivables from customers and taken action where needed
o Check ways to optimize (minimize) financing needs & payment terms to improve ROCE
3. Managing commercial operations
o Guide and monitor sales calls & visits, offers & price setting (tenders) and negotiations
o Review pre-calculations and co-sign the pro-forma invoices (sales offer)
o Guide and intervene in commercial issues or disputes
o Coordinate with affiliates to leverage local presence to further advance the business

Yêu cầu ứng viên
Education
• Bachelor/Master degree in Business Management (i.e. Finance, Entrepreneurship) or Engineering with a specialty in chemical sciences preferred
• Any technical knowledge for chemical specialties and/or processing are an asset
• Good understanding of international logistics/maritime shipping business and Incoterms
Experiences
• 5-10 years of relevant and proven B2B sales experiences and/or Key Account Management
• Preferably worked in a chemical industry or industry with significant chemical applications (i.e.Painting/Coating, Water treatment, Pulp&Paper, etc.)
• Preferably experiences in building up a new commercial business activities
Required competencies and skills
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Thorough understanding of commodities Indent Sales and Trading business, Vietnamese commodity market: products, applications, suppliers, customers, competition, legislations
• Financial knowledge:
o Understanding of pre- and post-calculation of net margins & ROCE of transactions
o Understanding of financing options, risk/insurance and payment instruments
o Good perception and assessment of overall (financial) risks on any deal
• Ability to drive sales decisions and influencers
• Ability to capitalize on market trends
Personality characteristics
• Having strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit who likes to create and seize business opportunities
• Driven business developer who likes to take initiative and enjoys large degree of autonomy
• Enjoying challenges and closing deals
• Strong communicator who likes to build relationships and deal with various types of people & cultures
• Able to structure and deliver clearly and convincingly (verbal & written)

• Vietnamese – Native
• English – Fluent
• Proficient IT application skills: Mail, MS office
• CRM system
