YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Together with strong partnerships we are developing affordable housing, sanitation and food security solutions. Covestro Vietnam is currently seeking an Inclusive Business Development Manager.

• Take responsibility to develop Inclusive Business in the Vietnamese market under the guidance of Head of Inclusive Business.
• Closely monitor trends, ongoing discussions and opportunities with relevance to sustainable development and inclusive business in Vietnamese markets, incl. the NGO and social enterprise landscape.
• Follow up on concrete partnership and establish partnership agreements with clearly defined roles, responsibilities and targets for the partners.
• With the support of the regional team of Inclusive Business, develop sustainable business models for existing applications (solar dryer, micro cold storage) and discover further applications in which Covestro materials can benefit people in underserved markets.
• Develop proposals for appropriate (co-) finance approaches and implement them.
• Co-design appropriate methods to measure and evaluate the social impact in target communities.
• Establish and grow a network of strategic partners (e.g. Government agencies, NGOs & business partners).
• Prepare proposals to participate in Government and other public projects aimed at inclusive development.
• Ensure proper project management and coordinate project execution

WHO YOU ARE
• Bachelor Degree in Social Development, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2 to 3 years work experience in (Inclusive) Business / Consulting / Marketing / Project Management
or Social Development.
• Broad understanding of the role of business in sustainable development and poverty alleviation.
• Passionate about sustainable development and entrepreneurship.
• Service minded, co-operative, good team player with excellent organization, coordination & problem
solving skills.
Curious about best solutions and willing to think out of the box.
• Flexible and willing to travel and work upcountry.
• Computer skills specifically in Microsoft Office and literacy.
• Fluent in English & Vietnamese
