In House Lawyer

1. Collaborates with other departments to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution. Being the legal advisor channel in the company to resolve difficult legal compliance issues
2. Develops, initiates, maintains, and revises policies and procedures for the general operation compliance and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
3. Responds to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies and procedures by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures. Develops and oversees a system for uniform handling of such violations
4. Acts as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance Issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved
5. Monitors, and as necessary, coordinates compliance activities of other departments to remain abreast of the status of all compliance activities and to identify trends
6. Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develops/implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provides general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future
7. Ensures proper reporting of violations or potential violations to duly authorized enforcement agencies as appropriate and/or required
8. Establishes and provides direction and management of the compliance
9. Develop an effective compliance training program, including appropriate introductory training for new employees as well as ongoing training for all employees and managers.

1. Bachelor’s degree in law required
2. Around 10 year experience in a similar role in an international companies.
3. Strong knowledge and understanding about the legal system in Vietnam and relevant laws and regulation
4. Possess excellent communications skills in English (written and verbal as Advanced level and able to communicate using advanced vocabularies) and be computer literate.
5. Experience working for BOT project, power field is a big plus.
6. Strong in communication skill
