Import & Export Manager

• Implementing and maintaining processes and tools for Distribution & Warehousing in the company, to enable a functioning operation.
• Supervising the Distribution & Warehousing operation within the company, to ensure its efficiency
• Coordinating with warehouse vendor and customer for material inspection and hand over
• Working with relevant local authorities to get needed Type Approval for the equipment to be imported
• Performing all necessary activities for the importation, customs clearance and exportation of material, to ensure an efficient goods flow to and from the company.
• Performing Inventory Management for projects in SAP
• Manage Ericsson contractors such as suppliers, warehouse vendors or customer clearance brokers
• Driving and performing measurements of applicable parts of the Distribution & Warehousing operation, using standard KPIs and ensure the KPIs meet requirement
• Assisting all applicable personnel in achieving cost avoidance and cost reductions within the Distribution and Warehouse operation in the company.
• Driving general activities to re-design the Distribution part of the supply chain, supervising change management and driving improvements of the Distribution operation, to improve its efficiency.

• Strong experience and knowledge in Supply Chain including Distribution Management, Import & Export
• Knowledge and understanding INCO Terms, Trade Compliance requirement, Trading terms and facilities, i.e. letter of credit, bank guarantee, etc. that includes ability to execution and coordinate accordingly.
• Knowledge and understanding inventory fundamental that includes material and transactions set-up in financial books, system, physical, etc.
• Knowledge and understanding warehouse operations fundamentals that include facility set-up and management, Way of working, Material Handling Equipment, Storage System, Environment Safety and Health
• Understanding inventory and warehouse management tools (WMS) that includes the integration and impact is an advantage but not mandatory
• 3-5 year experience in the field of Distribution management, Import and export in a multinational company is preferred
• Understanding local trucking industry, truck type, capacity, etc is an advantage
• Experience in managing Contractors
• Experience working in Telecom project is an advantage
