ICT Technician

A. Reports to Principal

• Support all school events
• Bring multimedia and support technology adoption into the classroom
• Support ICT requirements for classes, assessments, tests, examinations and competitions
• Install and troubleshoot specialized software related to the operation of the school
• Conduct MC-Online Training and support
• Support digital design work for the school that include school’s monthly newsletter, year book and other collaterals; videos, images and media
• Support in managing content of the school’s website
• ICT Curriculum Work with teachers on ICT curriculum, make sure always available to use.
• Learn relevant software from the Ministry of Education and Training.
• Management of ICT-related assets

B. Reports to IT Manager

1. Installing hardware and software systems
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, projector, camera and scanners etc.
- Install Accounting software
- Install Education software etc.

2. Conducting training for new school staff in terms of all ICT related matters at school.

3. Maintaining or providing repairing solution for ICT equipment as below and not limited to computer, laptop, projector, camera, switchboard, timekeeper, etc.

4. Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of network and computer systems
- Troubleshooting a variety of computer issues
- Setting up computer security measures
- Configuring computer networks, both WIFI and LAN / WAN networks.
- Offering technical support on-site or via phone or email to other campuses.
- Be able to support multi block in school area.
- Diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.
- Monitoring CCTV system of School.

5. Assisting Project team for ICT system / infrastructure set-up for new project / new building of the School.

- Assist in working with contractor of ICT
- Monitoring the implementation (following design) and quality of work items.
- Realize and suggest solution for issues or changes happened.
- Cooperate with ICT department and fulfill tasks assigned.

C. Others

• In handling any other duties / responsibilities assigned by Principal / IT Manager from time to time.
• You are expected to travel when required.

Bachelor / DIploma in information technology (IT)
