***Job Profile Summary
The Associate Human Resources Business Partner is the entry level position in the HR Business Partner job family. These individuals operate in less complex environments where they are required to serve as a consultative associate business partner to assigned business groups. They operate at a global, regional, local, Business Unit (BU) or Service Unit (SU) level.
The primary responsibility of this position is to contribute ideas for the recruitment, development, engagement and general HR support of employees in their area of responsibility and/or stakeholder group.

• Partner with leadership teams
These individuals will act as an extension of the relevant stakeholder group and work with them to understand and identify their human resource related needs and compile plans and strategies, in conjunction with the relevant HR team, to address the HR requirements.
They will act as a resource consultant to the assigned stakeholder group by advising them of trends in HR practices, the labour market and general developments that could impact on the human resources in the area of responsibility.
Associate HR Business Partners are also responsible for keeping the relevant leadership team updated on the HR programmes being developed and inform and educate them of HR related policies, processes and methods.

• Execute programmes
The HR agenda for the designated area of responsibility will be a collaboratively designed strategy with input from all the relevant leaders. On the basis of this strategy a relevant HR team will develop programmes to support the strategic objectives. These individuals will be expected to represent their assigned stakeholder group on this team and articulate their assigned stakeholder team’s requirements.
They will be responsible for executing all the programmes developed by the relevant HR team in their stakeholder group. The duties with regards to execution includes:
Communication with relevant stakeholders
Budget and resource motivation to support deployment
Management and measurement of the deployment
Providing feedback to the HR virtual team



• Manage talent and workforce initiatives
Associate HR Business Partners will be required to ensure continuous Dimension Data job framework alignment in terms of:
All jobs on the framework for the assigned stakeholder group
All employees in the assigned stakeholder group mapped to DDJF jobs

• Job titling governance and alignment
All new employees in the assigned stakeholder group socialised with the DDJF and mapped
Work with the relevant HR team to identify key talent, succession candidates and high-potential employees for inclusion in corporate development programmes.
They will need to contribute to Workforce Planning efforts and ensure that WFP data is used in their assigned stakeholder group for workforce budgets and plans.

• Manage learning and development initiatives
Most of the relevant HR programmes will be training initiatives that need to be deployed to members of the team. Associate HR Business Partners will assist in the deployment, management and measurement of these programmes.
In addition, they will need to analyse and understand learning needs of the assigned stakeholder group and work with the relevant HR team to address these needs through the group wide learning platforms.
These individuals will also be responsible for learning reporting and tracking for employees within the assigned stakeholder group.

• Support recruitment initiatives
Within their area of responsibility, Associate HR Business Partners will be the responsible for defining and managing the compilation of talent pipelines, executing targeted recruitment campaigns for prospective employees and supporting any other initiatives required to effectively recruit for this area. The onboarding of new employees in the stakeholder group to ensure the rapid engagement of new employees and an accelerated time to productivity will also be this individual’s responsibility.

• Contribute to the engagement of employees
Associate HR Business Partner will be required to contribute to driving the on-going engagement of employees in the assigned stakeholder group through communication, information sharing and knowledge management. Other initiatives such as specific recognition campaigns, international assignments and job enrichment programmes to retain employees in the designated stakeholder group will also require this individual’s co-ordination.

• Analytics and trend tracking
Associate HR Business Partners use data for analysis and trend establishment to understand performance and productivity drivers in the relevant employee base. They will be required to contribute to this process and to translate data and analytics to into stakeholder reports.


• Think innovatively and contribute ideas
These individuals will need to actively contribute to the growth and success of the business in their designated stakeholder group. As such, they will need to display innovation by proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, new innovations and new approaches. Their contribution will be measured by the quality of ideas that they contribute.

• Behavioural skills
Associate HR Business Partners demonstrate strategic thinking ability. They have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. They practice two-way communication and listen to and understands others’ points of view.
As corporate citizens they are good team players and exhibit the required level of management skills required from junior specialists. The Associate HR Business Partner maintains high integrity, displays reliability and recognizes his/her direct reports, whilst building a cohesive team. Maintaining a strong understanding of business concepts and having solid HR and legislative knowledge is important in this role. They need to be able to collaborate with business leaders and team managers at both a strategic and tactical level. They need to be accessible to all employees and deal with query escalations.

Qualifications
• At least 4 years in a Human Resources Business Partner role
• Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and responsibilities
• Good command in English
• Understanding of current HR legislation, policies and practices in Vietnam (Contract type, tax, compensation and benefits)
• Experiences in recruitment and recruitment planning preferred
• Strong understanding of a range of HR disciplines including compensation, talent acquisition, performance management, employee development and employee relations
• Demonstrated ability to confidently make and implement HR decisions in a dynamic, fast paced, high volume and often ambiguous environment. Ability to navigate through the gray and drive results.
• To be a key contributor to team performance, demonstrate a strong track record of delivery through working closely with both senior stakeholders and internal HR colleagues across multiple country locations.
• High level of self-motivation, whilst comfortable working autonomously in a fast paced and complex matrix business.
• Ability to build strong relationships, earning the confidence and trust of senior managers and team members.
