Mô tả công việc
* Hull
- Development of constructions and drawings:
• 3 D-modeling of complex hull sections: bow with anchor recess and bow thruster; stern with propeller-rudder system; deckhouse under guidance and using basic decisions.
• 3 D-modeling of main structural outfitting of model, specification, basic decisions.
• 3 D-modeling of complex and simple foundations according to existing equipment.
• Release of complete package of production Information.
- Performance of calculations
• Perform weight estimation under guidance.
• Perform calculations of local strength for determination of local reinforcement / supports.
• Participate in calculation of Material Take-off.
* Mechanical
- Development of 3D Model of the piping systems and equipment: 3D Model of equipment items and piping systems
- Development of Production information drawings: ISO & Spool, Combination, AXO view, Penetration drawings and Material reports
- Performance of calculations (when applicable)
• Performs weight estimation under guidance.
• Participates in calculation of MTO (material take-off)
* Other activities
- Constantly perfect knowledge and skills on specialty.
- Participate actively in trainings of new-comers.
- Perform planned tasks strictly within the budget and in specified terms.
- Provide report on performed tasks according to applicable instructions.
- Carry out designer supervision and, if necessary, technical support on a shipyard, work in the office of the Client.
* General regulations

- Keep the workplace clean and in order
- Meet the "HSEQ Statement" and applicable safety regulations (including legal obligations)

- Higher education technical
- Hull: Qualification in Shipbuilding Engineering or Naval Architecture
/ Mechanical: Qualification in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
- Good written and verbal English
Experience: 1 to 5 years experience in Engineering

Damen Song Cam Shipyard Co., Ltd is a joint venture between Damen Shipyards Group in the Netherlands (70%) and Song Cam Shipyard (30%), member of SBIC and based in Hai Phong, Vietnam. At a 42 hectares site just outside Hai Phong, Damen Song Cam is a strategic and preferred production location within the Damen Shipyards Group to produce tugboats and work-boats. At the moment, the shipyard is a dedicated outfitting shipyard, outfitting, commissioning and delivering approx. 40 vessels per year to clients worldwide. At a later stage Damen Song Cam will further increase its production facilities to deliver approx. 80 vessels a year and will start to produce some of the hulls which are currently sub-contracted to other yards. Stock control is the function of understanding the stock mix of a company and the different demands on that stock. The demands are influenced by both external and internal factors and are balanced by the creation of purchase order requests to keep supplies at a reasonable or prescribed level. The principal duty of a stock controller is to organize and monitor stock levels to maximize efficiency. The Stock Controller, monitors and coordinates activities related to demand of raw material and inventory parts to ensure that all business operations have the right material at the right time to achieve their objectives.
