HSE Supervisor (Urgent)

* Summary
- To proactively develop, manage, coordinate and facilitate the company’s health, safety and environmental policies and management system.

* Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Review and develop all aspects of the company’s Safety and Health Policy and ensure that it is implemented consistently across the whole organization.
2. Work with BU line managers, Safety Committee and other key personnel to establish and maintain full implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) management system.
3. Promote incident prevention, rigorous risk assessment and accident management systems thru effective collaboration / communication with branch facilities’ OSHA Safety Officers. (Occupational, Safety and Health Administration)
4. Take leadership role and provide guidance to ensure branch facilities’ OSHA Safety Officers’ carry out and execute HSE objectives within the specified time line and budget.
5. Analyze HSE implementation by branch, take proactive approach to collectively discuss areas of continuous improvement and agreed corrective actions with BU line managers and relevant personnel and / or guidance from CAT Safety consultants to ensure individual commitment, awareness and sustainability is visual around the branch facility.
6. Ensure that appropriate records and processes are maintained to meet and satisfy audit and compliance requirement.
7. Undertake the planning and implementation of Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR), fire drills and evacuation procedures, and other VN regulatory requirement.
8. Collaborate with Human Resources Department in relation to new staff safety induction.
9. Supports, contributes to and / or manages special safety projects as identified by the HSE leadership, if any.
10. Reflect and promote safety culture, positive attitude and the company’s corporate values, teamwork and professionalism at all times.
10. Be in charge of all responsibilities and tasks related to facility maintenance for Long Thanh workshop.
11. Prepare and manage the maintenance contract with vendors/contractors (if the maintenance need outsourced), supervising and coordinating to work with them.
12. Building and grounds: Supervising essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal, and fire and emergency equipment.
13. Security: Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent related issues as may arise within and outside facilities.

* Education
- University Degree, or
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
o Accreditation of being a Safety Practitioner - from Bureau of Working Condition is an advantage

* Work experience
- At least 5 years relevant working experience in strategically managing health and safety systems, policies and standards
- Proven experience in obtaining behavioral participation and engagement in environmental, health and safety initiatives
- Preferably experienced in occupational, health and safety, ISO45001 or ISO14001 (environmental standards) is an advantage

* Other Skills and Knowledge
- Mature, responsible individual, good interpersonal skills, able to complete the given tasks with minimum supervision
- Knowledge in procedural guidelines, and QMS is an advantage
- A positive attitude to dealing with people
- Good English communication skills
