HSE Supervisor

1. Continuous improvement of the HSE Integrated Management System.
Ensure HSE standards are practical, aligned with best practice and compliant with Vietnamese legislation.
Ensure all employees are aware of and meet their obligations under the relevant HSE legislation
2. Provision of HSE Information, instruction, induction and training
Provide direction and guidance to project management teams, site personnel and subcontractor management, in methods for avoiding job-related illnesses and injuries, and environment, property and equipment damage.
Develop and provide HSE induction, training as reqd.
3. Internal Auditing, Inspection
Conduct internal audits, inspections for compliance to the AV HSE requirements.
4. HSE Event Management
Ensure that the AV HSE Event Management requirements are followed for all HSE incidents and near misses.
Assist teams in investigation of all HSE events and ensure proper records are completed and submitted.
Assist in implementation of corrective actions as it relates to the HSE event and ensure “lessons learned” are communicated effectively
5. Equipment calibration
Ensure all relevant equipment, machines, tools required for calibrationand compliance to safety regulations, are properly controlled.
6. Waste and Environmental Management
Ensure legislation environmental requirements are understood and measures are implemented to ensure compliance.
Be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of secure waste management procedures.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER

- You will be got the compensation for Personal Accident insurance and Health care insurance according to Company Financial Regulation
- Annual leave is 18 days per year for the period from 1st January to 31st December, exclusive of public holidays of Vietnam. You are entitled to annual leave on a pro-rata basis with 01(one) additional day for 05 (five) years of employment.
- Annual salary review based on employee's performance and contribution
- Working hour : 45 hour/week (Monday to Friday)

QUALIFICATIONS AND LICENCES:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Safety Engineering.
• Group 2 Training certificate on Occupational Health & Safety

Preferrable:
• 5 years of Management Experience
• ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/45001 Awareness and internal auditor certificates
• Certificate in scaffolding, lifting gear inspections, risk assessment, incident investigation, safety in radiation, first aider, firefighting, HSE train the trainer

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Proficiency in the relevant local legislation and development of HSE Management System, including establishing of procedures and guidelines; conducting risk assessment, audit, inspection and accident investigation; managing of contractors.
• Minimum 7 years working experience in the field of HSE in manufacturing preferably shipbuilding.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement of the processes, policies, standards;
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Computer literacy
