HSE Supervisor

1. Continuous improvement of the HSE Integrated Management System.
Ensure HSE standards are practical, aligned with best practice and compliant with Vietnamese legislation.
Ensure all employees are aware of and meet their obligations under the relevant HSE legislation
2. Provision of HSE Information, instruction, induction and training
Provide direction and guidance to project management teams, site personnel and subcontractor management, in methods for avoiding job-related illnesses and injuries, and environment, property and equipment damage.
Develop and provide HSE induction, training as reqd.
3. Assist teams in investigation of all HSE events and ensure proper records are completed and submitted.
Assist in implementation of corrective actions as it relates to the HSE event and ensure “lessons learned” are communicated effectively
4. Equipment calibration
Ensure all relevant equipment, machines, tools required for calibration and compliance to safety regulations, are properly controlled.
5. Waste and Environmental Management
Ensure legislation environmental requirements are understood and measures are implemented to ensure compliance.
Be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of secure waste management procedures.

• Education level: University degree and its equivalent.
• Experience: MINIMUM 2 years experience in HSE job.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement of the processes, policies, standards;
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Computer literacy
• Plan work well, and to be well-organised, and prepared for responsibility and decision making.
• Strong people skills, to be able to communicate with, manage and motivate people at all levels, from staff to sub-contractors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, entrepreneurship, result oriented, negotiation, problem solving, project management, business acumen;
• Positive influencing: ability to convince others, gain agreement or acceptance of plans, activities and ability to move others willingly towards a desired goal or course of action;
• Demonstrated experience working independently and within a big team
