HR Manager Vietnam, International Garment Manufacturer (Local)

We are an international executive search and consulting firm. Our client is a garment manufacturer for many international brands in the world. It is headquartered in Hong Kong with production facilities in several countries. To cope with expansion, it is looking for a professional for the position of HR Manager based in Hanoi, Vietnam. Local Vietnamese candidates preferred.

Responsibilities:
• Manage HR function for the manufacturing operation in Vietnam employing 9,000 workers
• Responsible for overall HR management
• Handle Employee Relations and union matters
• Deal with PR and communication on matters related to unions

• University degree in HR, business management or related fields
• Minimum 10 years of managerial experience in garment manufacturing in Vietnam
• Familiar with local labour laws and statutory requirements in Vietnam
• Experience handling unions in factory environment a must
• Local Vietnamese, must speak Vietnamese and speak fluent English
• Excellent communication skills
• Prior experience in PR or media handling is a definite advantage
• The job is based in in Hanoi, one hour from city
