Reporting to: Head of HR – SEA
Key stakeholders: Head of HR – SEA, Country Head, Various business line leaders
Duties & responsibilities
1. Being Operational
This is a very diverse yet hands on role that comes with great responsibility. Working with your team, you need to drive HR operations specifically the Program Management of HR Initiatives in the Country. This will include Talent Acquisition, Projects, Talent Development, Compensation Management, Performance Management and Training.
2. Collaboration
In this role, you will be working closely with senior leadership teams. You’ll drive a spirit of collaboration to ensure that the HR function runs to maximum efficiency, allowing us to achieve our client’s ambitions. You’ll support business development, representing the HR function in sales pitches and discussions with JLL’s existing and potential clients. You’ll provide oversight and guidance to Regional HR on matters relating to the Vietnam context.
3. Being a Strategist
Can you see the bigger picture? Can you juggle operational delivery whilst delivering future strategy? You will need to work with key stakeholders to drive strategy around robust succession planning, talent development and retention. You will have the ability to diagnose issues and recognise opportunities for improvement and partner with stakeholders, Country heads, Account leads and Regional HR to make it work.
4. A talent for talent
Do you have a talent for talent? This role is critical to the success of the wider regional talent acquisition team and we need someone who has passion for identifying the best talent for various roles throughout the region. You’ll know how to employ traditional and creative innovative sourcing strategies to play a lead role in our recruiting efforts.
5. Being analytical
You’ll be the lead in performing searches and bringing in talent through various sourcing channels including job adverts, personal networking and social media. In addition to filling current requirements, your multi-faceted approach will lead to the successful development of candidate market intelligence reports and talent mapping. You will actively support the wider APAC Talent Acquisition function in collating and analysing key metrics and maximizing the effectiveness of the recruiting process.
6. Having a ‘can do’ attitude
HR plays an important and dynamic role within a highly dynamic business. It’s a fast paced environment and you’ll need to be fast paced as well. You’ll need a positive mind set and a ‘can do’ attitude. We have a continuous improvement mentality across our business and we’ll be looking for you to have the same. We want somebody with an entrepreneurial mind-set and the internal drive to continuously hit goals and succeed.
7. Leading from the front
This role comes with leadership responsibility and you’ll act as a role model, inspiration and coach for business leaders and team members, giving constructive feedback on a formal and informal basis.

You’ll champion JLL’s Employee Value Proposition both internally and externally by spreading the message about what our company culture is about and what makes us stand out in the talent market and inspiring the best talent to join us.

1. Experienced
Not a job for the faint hearted, you will need at least 8 years’ experience with both Talent Acquisition, Recruitment or executive search as well as all round HR generalist experience. You’ll understand and have direct experience of all aspects of Talent Acquisition including: - job description development, multi-channel candidate sourcing methods, competency and behavioural based interview techniques, candidate management through to successful on boarding.
2. A team player
You’ll be a person that collaborates with others regardless of role, business unit or location. At JLL, we work together to help achieve our ambitions and that of our clients.
3. Great communicator
Can you get your ideas across clearly both verbally and in writing? You’ll be working with many diverse interest groups so the way you share information and your ability to persuasively convey information is highly important. A high EQ is must for this role.
4. Knowledgeable
You’ll have a through grasp of all facets of Human Resources particularly leadership, organizational development, HR systems & processes, recruiting rewards & recognition and performance management. Specific expertise in talent management or driving engagement programs would be highly advantageous.
5. Resilient
HR is a highly dynamic part of a highly dynamic business. It’s fast paced and you’ll need to be fast paced as well. You’ll need a positive mind set and a ‘can do’ attitude when multi-tasking driving change and delivering operational efficiencies. 6. Employee specification
A degree holder with a minimum of Bachelor level preferably with Human Resources or Real Estate. Any formal HR qualifications would be advantageous.
