[Hot Job] Sr. QA Technician/ Quality Controller in Garment

Generally, QA responsibilities including 2 main points as below:
To assure and ensure right Quality sample ( proto, SMS, SS/fit, PPS ) are made as per customer requirement

Sample stage:
Check and clearify technical issue, ensure buyer’s comment will be improved.
Discussed with QC before PPs meeting with all the issues.

Production stage:
Check 1 st output and voice out if have any problem
Check TOP/ photo sample if buyer required


To be platform between buyer, factory/sample and Asmara merchandiser, QC to clarify technical issue and make the process smooth and easy to get the right quality product from the first stage to final stage

Generally, QC responsibilities:

- Prepares and updates the Quality Assurance production status reports (PSR) on a regular basis.
- Conducts inline inspections per Purchasing Order as per brand's SOPs; ensuring product quality conforms to the approved TOP.
- Conducts the final audit for the shipments at factories before delivery to the forwarders.
- Reports to supervisor or respective brand point persons timely on problems identified that may affect delivery.
- Prepares analysis on performance of factories assigned and identifies high risk factories; identify issues and recommend improvement actions. - Provide coaching and training to other auditors; may supervise a team of auditors for assigned categories, brands, factories or geographies
- Conduct factory evaluations and assist in other vendor development initiatives as assigned

- Strong experience of working in factory / Buying Agent’s office or Representative Office
- Hands-on knowledge of different garment categories such as Woven, Knits, Sweater, Jacket, Intimates, etc.
- Technical experience in pattern making, wash, fabric are preferred
- Experience in handling global brands is definitely an advantage
- Good communications skills: Speak, write and understand English & & proficient PC skills
- Able to identify problems and analyses for solutions
• Flexible, able to act independently. Decisively & able to travel if necessary
• Self-motivated team player prepared to work under pressure
