Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop, deploy and maintain overlay tooling related to AWS platforms.
• Enable seamless customer experience across multiple platforms and accounts
• Develop smart tools to enable automated deployment and QC in AWS
• Create automated response and reaction to AWS alerting
• Create a blended, time-series view of all SCC, AWS CloudTrail, and Azure log analytics activity
• Work in partnership with the UK based Cloud Engineers to continuously develop and improve the tooling and product offering at SCC.

Required Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 3 years in working on AWS in development, build, testing and deployment.
• Experience with programming language Python.
• Experience working Lambda, API Gateway.
• Understanding of delivery models such as DevOps, CI/CD, configuration management, and containers (Docker).
• Knowledge with Systems Operations: Cloud Watch Logs, Cloud Watch Logs Agent, ELK, Cloudtrail, Config.
• Understanding Security: IAM, Cognito
• Understanding Networking: VPN, VPC, Route 53.
• Understanding Autoscaling, Load Balancing.
• Experience in RDS (SQL, Aurora)
• Familiar with various software delivery methodologies including agile practices.
• Has knowledge with scripting language Bash/Powershell is a plus.
• Experience in DevOps is a plus.
• Has knowledge with Redshift data warehouse is a plus.
• Experience with C#, Javascript, HTML, CSS is a plus.
• Has AWS Developer Associate Certification
• Flexibility to travel occasionally to work to customer location in Europe (UK).
• Ability to work independently and within a team to achieve project goals.
• Ability to manage own time in ensuring all tasks are completed.
• Strong analytical and excellent problem solving skills.
• Good communication skills: strong English is required as you will have to communicate in English on a daily basis.

In addition, SCC Vietnam will play a key role in the delivery of Managed and Data Centre services to our customers in the area of Server, Storage and Network support and management. Working closely with the existing technical and operational teams in the UK and Romania, SCC Vietnam will be providing 24/7 support for critical systems in customer environments across Europe. SCC will provide an induction for these roles which may involve time in the United Kingdom. This would involve 2-3 weeks working with the existing team at our Headquarters in England.
