Hospital Administrator

***Job Purpose
Alina Eye Hospital (http://alinavn.vn/), Vietnam is recruiting Hospital Administrator to lead, manage and coordinate all non clinical processes and provide support to ensure a smoothly functioning hospital. Key responsibilities include meeting targets, managing teams and ensure patient satisfaction.

- Reporting to: Chief Medical Officer
- Secondary Reporting: Chief Operating Officer

***Roles & Responsibilities

1. Patient care
• Manage daily operations and ensure smooth patient flow
• Develop and implement strategies to increase new, referral, and follow up patients
• Identify continuous improvement programs to provide more effective patient care
• Set annual patient targets to support the growth of the facility

2. Marketing
• Work with the marketing manager to plan and implement marketing campaigns to promote hospital services
• Ensure agreed no of patient foot fall is achieved
• Establish a good relationship with community leaders
• Coordinate with the Community Outreach coordinators to conduct camps regularly

3. HR
• Work with HR coordinators to ensure timely recruitment of staff
• Implement training and development program
• Ensure all HR legal compliances are met
• Manage staff performance and provide necessary feedback
• Handle grievance and disciplinary issues and escalate in a timely manner if necessary

4. Purchase
• Coordinate and negotiate purchasing contracts for all supplies along with purchase coordinator
• Monitor contracts with respect to supplier competence, pricing, quality, quantity, timing etc.
• Ensure availability of materials for smooth functioning of hospital

5. Maintenance
• Ensure instruments maintenance activities are carried out regularly
• Ensure regular and break down maintenances are handled to avoid any disturbance in patient care

6. Meetings and reports
• Conduct weekly department along with Medical Director to discuss department wise performance and provide feedback
• Prepare and provide monthly performance reports- score card to Medical Director and COO

• Effective crisis management

***Qualifications Required/ Desired:
• Master of Business Administration/Master of Hospital Administration
• Minimum 5 years of work experience
• Experience in any relevant industry
